Here comes Peter Cottentail!

We had a wonderful Easter this year. We are so blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful family and friends, we are so thankful for them and all that they do for us. We are also very grateful for those of our family who are far away, we love you all very much!!! We went to the Easter Pageant at the Mesa Temple, it is such an awesome production. The feeling that you get there can't be explained, it's just amazing. We are so thankful for our Saviour and the sacrifice he made for us so that we can return to live with him and our Heavenly Father again, there is nothing that we want more than to return to them above and to be with our families forever, an Eternal Family!!! I KNOW THAT MY REDEEMER LIVES!!!
Rebecca and Rocky both talked in Sacrament meeting on Easter Sunday and did a terrific job. After church we ate dinner at my Dads and then had an Easter egg hunt for the kids. Being with family that loves you is the best and we couldn't have asked for better. The Faucette's and Coleman's are the BEST!!!

Dallin being the Easter Bunny!!! He wore those ears for hours.
Chandler coloring eggs.
Jeron coloring eggs.
Dallin taking a break from coloring eggs to take a cute picture.
Chandler and Dallin hunting for those eggs!
Dallin wanting to get a prize egg! My mom does prize eggs every year, the highest being a $10 egg.
Jeron searching for some more eggs. He got the $10 egg and Chandler and Dallin both got a $5 egg.

WOW, what a trip!!!

On spring break we went to Oklahoma, Missouri and Arkansas, it was a long 7 days. We first went to Oklahoma to see Phillip and Sirena and to be there for Lilyana's blessing. It was good to see them again. While there we got to see Christopher play in a soccer game, go bowling and listen to Phillip and Sirena talk in Sacrament meeting. The boys had a great time playing with KyliAnna and Christopher, they miss them so much! Next we headed to Missouri to see Brian's Nana and on the way there we found out she was in the hospital ill. We still got to see her though, we went to see her in the hospital at least twice a day. We also got to have a quick visit with Aunt Marilynn and Uncle Don, their doing real well. We had fun getting to visit with Matt, Aunt Carla, Nana, Aunt Karen, Laura, Rhonda and her husband, we hadn't seen them in over 3 years. We had to go to Bass Pro Shop of course, that is just a tradition we have to do when there (even though there is a Bass Pro only a little over a hour away from us now and probably just a big). Aunt Carla spoiled the boys as usual. After a couple of days there and a tearful goodbye we headed to Arkansas. We went to Fayetteville first to see Lisa and Mike and have lunch at their restaurant Steak n Shake (it was soooo good). We visited with them for about 2 hours and then went to see where Phillip and Sirena will be moving to in May a town called Alma. Then started our 2 day trip home. It was so good to see everyone though.

Me and Lilyana. She's so adorable!!!
Jeron and Lilyana. He loves holding babies.
The boys with Aunt Carla at Bass Pro.

The boys at Bass Pro. Dallin was pretending to shoot all the animals with his new gun, it was so cute!!!

HaPpY BiRtHdAy to me!!! I'm 33!!! March 13th!

My Mom and Sisters took me out for lunch on my Birthday. We had so much fun reminiscing, making funny faces and giggling. The people at the restaurant probably thought we were crazy!!! My sweet mom and me!
The beautiful flowers Brian got for me, I loved them!
Brian and the boys cleaned the house for me that day for my Birthday present. I couldn't have asked for a better husband or children. I Love them so much!!!
My present from Pam and Jimmy, they are such good friends. Jimmy made me a key holder that says Coleman and is shaped like a big key. It's so neat!
Time to blow out the candles. We had a BBQ that night with family and friends and played games. It was so fun, my family and friends are AWESOME!!!

Jeron's Trumpet Solo

We are sure proud of Jeron. He did a solo tonight at his spring band concert and did AWESOME!!! This is his first year in band and he loves it. Jeron's band teacher told us he would be very upset if we ever moved because Jeron is the best Trumpet player in the 5th grade. The song is Day-O.

States and Capitals

Tonight we were just sitting around watching TV and Dallin had his state puzzle out. Jeron started quizzing Chandler to see if he knew the capitals of each state, so then we all started getting into it. When it was my turn to be quizzed I had Brian name the capitals to see if I knew the states (I thought this would be a little easier). I knew that I wouldn't do very good since I haven't done this since like the 4th grade but I thought I would give it a try. I didn't do too bad. Anyway Brian came to Frankfort and I couldn't think of the state (told you I wouldn't do so hot). So I sat there thinking for a few seconds and Brian gave me a hint. He said his Grandma Coleman was from there, well I didn't remember where she was from so I kept thinking. Hmm Hmm!! Then Jeron told me "Colonel Sanders mom" and this is how stupid I am I said "Oh is he from there too?" and kept thinking. Well Brian and Jeron busted up laughing and then I finally got it, KENTUCKY Fried Chicken!!! We laughed about this for quite a while. It's a good thing my boys take after their dad (Brainy)!!! We had a good laugh though. :o)

Yard Work

Brian securing down the fabric.

The Elders getting some of the rock.

Elder Blasko (I don't know if that is how you spell his name or not).

Elder Jones putting the rock down.

Brian spreading the rock on the fabric.

Some of the finished project.

We are trying to get our front yard looking a little better so we are taking out the old rock and putting down landscaping fabric and putting new rock on. It takes a little more work and muscle then it looks like. The Elders came to help on Tuesday and I was really great full for that. I help Brian but when it comes to having muscles, I don't have ANY!!! So it was really nice of them to do that. We took them out to eat for lunch after and had some good conversations. Their great guys. It's not quite done yet because we need to order more fabric, but when it is done it will look gooood! My project is going to be the back yard, I need to do the flower beds and I want to make a patio with pavers underneath the big olive tree and put nice benches around on it. We're also going to put a couple of orange trees in the back yard. My dad has lemon and grapefruit (YUMMY!!!) trees so we can get those anytime we want, so we decided on some orange trees.

Chandler's Pinewood Derby

Chandlers first race that night. Chandlers car is the one way up front. He won that race by a long way!

Chandler and Daniel racing against each other. It was a pretty close race but in the end Daniel won!

I LOVE to hold Daisy Hansen anytime I can, so I was holding her, cheering and taking pictures at the same time!

Chandler and Spencer Bryce having a good time watching their friends race while waiting for their turn.

Dallin and Willie Romero waiting for their brothers cars to race.

Caden Hansen, Spencer Bryce, Dallin and Jeron.

Chandler with his car and participation plaque. Jimmy Bryce made those for the boys, that was so nice and sweet of him.

Chandler and Daniel showing off their cars and awards.

All 14 boys that raced. Chandler and Daniel are in the back row on the far right.

Wow, what a exciting day and crazy night!!! First we had to go put the pinewood derby track together at the church. Then the Elders came to help with our front yard. Then our sister Mindy had her baby boy, Coleman Jace Muir (YEAH) and then Brian and I had to go get my mom from the airport at 4:44 and then hurry back to get to the derby by 6:oo, luckily her plane was a little early and we were able to make it in time to see Chandler race. This all happened on Tuesday. CRAZY!!! There were 14 boys that raced their cars and we had 96 races in all. Chandler won 9 out of 13 races and tied with 3 other boys for 4th place. Even though he didn't win he had a blast. They would all cheer on their favorite cars or their friends cars and it would get pretty loud in the gym. The track that they raced on is new and they bought it with the popcorn money they raised and still have plenty of money left over for a fun trip this summer. I think that is neat that they bought a new track, now it is something that they can be proud of and look back and say "Hey, I helped get that"! Well even though Chandler didn't get 1st place like last year (he tied with Jeron), Daniel (our nephew) took 2nd place. He was so excited his car did so good for his first derby. They are going to take their cars to the Miami/Globe tournament next month. Jeron made a car for that one too. It will be fun and neat to see how well they do at that one. They take the top 4 to Phoenix to race!
